Waterloo Legal Advice Service

The Waterloo Legal Advice Service is a free service that provides legal advice every week on a Thursday evening. It has been running for over 30 years and is made possible by the solicitors, lawyers and receptionists involved giving their time free of charge.

Free Legal Advice is available every Thursday night from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.  Doors open at 6:00 pm. Clients are advised not to come before the advertised opening times, as they will be asked to wait outside until the halls are set up. Due to the large demand for this service it can be very busy, so your patience is appreciated. We will try to see everyone who arrives before 7:30, however due to the large numbers of clients we have been experiencing recently it may be necessary to turn people away later in the evening.

Please note we do not give advice on Debt and Welfare Benefits, Parking and Council Tax disputes and we reserve the right to make a decision on whether any matters presented are unsuitable for our service to deal with.

IMPORTANT  NOTICE:  Currently the Waterloo Legal Advice Service is only able to assist clients who live within the following South London Boroughs: Bromley, Croydon, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Southwark, Sutton and Wandsworth.

If you live outside these boroughs and have a current case with us we will continue to deal with it until conclusion but will not be able to deal with new matters on your behalf.
