Advice Worker, 26 hours a week, to work with the Senior Advice Worker provide professional advice on welfare benefits; council tax, housing benefit, rent arrears, homelessness, disrepair and other housing issues, employment issues and debt and other topics as needed.
Salary: £17,457 for 26 hours a week (Full time equivalent would be £23,500)
Applicants should have at least one years full time advice (or part time equivalent) of delivering advice work, be energetic, committed to serving the people of Lambeth and enjoy working as part of a team.
We are delighted to have appointed a new Senior Advice worker - Sharmi Kar. Sharmi is an experienced advice worker who will be starting full time at WAC on Monday 30th November. She is highly recommended and we are very pleased to have her joining us to continue the nearly 40 years of service by WAC's General and Legal Advice services.
